Sanitary pads (Whisper, Stayfree, other brands) widely available at Cargills, Keells, and pharmacies nationwide. Tampons LESS common — available in Colombo (Cargills, Union Chemists) and larger towns, hard to find rural. Menstrual cups: Colombo pharmacies stock a few brands, or bring your own.

Bring: preferred brand tampons enough for trip if traveling rural, backup pads, wet wipes, small plastic bags for disposal. Rural bathrooms: bins beside toilet standard. Cultural note: menstruation is culturally private — dispose discreetly.
