Friday 28 Aug, Kandy is ordinary town once the night cortege is done. We are at Udawatta canopy after a late night. Elder shade need. Festival ended today after Dahawal, no night restart. Asking before we pay a leftover tout. White set still damp on a chair.

Friday Kandy is ordinary town. Courtyard if you cover and the queue is not a story. Then leave. Dahawal 2:18 is optional daylight, not a night kerb. No restart. Lived pin: Udawatta canopy after a late night.

Paid the short hop with a kid. Pride would still be bargaining in leftover drizzle.

Rice was still steaming two streets off. First grill was tired oil.
