First Jaffna crab: follow street steam or sit a named hotel plate

First night in Jaffna. Group wants crab. Do we follow steam off a street place, or sit a named hotel plate because the elder does not want a gamble?

Follow steam if the place is full of families and the crab is coming off the fire, not a freezer story. A named hotel plate is the elder version and that is allowed. Do not walk a dark side lane because a blog named a secret. Ask the guesthouse for one ordinary house, then sit. Heat plus crab plus pride is a bad night.
