Repeat hop, still stuck. Midigama. Fishing-harbour look, not a boat, still a bad idea on 2-3 m. A boring local answer would help more than a speech.

Bulletin 18 Amber is still valid until 10:30 Tuesday 1 September. Hambantota to Pottuvil can be rough with 50-60 kmph gusts. Waves 2-3 m Negombo to Pottuvil via Colombo, Galle and Matara. Inundation possible Beruwala to Matara via Galle. Vigilance, not a town tape, not a swim ban. From Midigama, keep it a look from back, a pool, or a cafe. Do not invent a swim ban or a whole-town seal.

We sat a cafe in a town like Midigama and watched the wash. Looking calm from a balcony is not the same as kids in the edge.

If a boat desk wants a deposit while Amber is valid to 10:30 Tuesday, wait a calmer morning. A tout saying 'short is fine' is not a bulletin.
