Flag on the main Passara road posts, leftover swell. Kid already in the shallows. Beach bar says the flag is only for insurance. I want a local, not a cocktail. 26 Aug.

A flag means pay attention, not a brochure. Leftover chop on this water is ordinary in August. Shallows with a toddler can still dump a kid. Stay where you can stand, no inflatables past the first break. The bar does not write the flags. If it goes red, you are out. Nobody here is quoting an official warning colour as today's fact. It is just the sea you can see.

We kept the kid knee-deep and sat. Fine. The bar wanted a second round more than a safe bay.
