Flying into CMB with insulin pens in a cool pouch — will customs seize them or just ask questions?

Type 1, traveling with pens, needles, and a small gel cool pouch in hand luggage. Doctor letter in English in my bag. I am not looking for smuggling tips — just whether travelers usually declare, keep meds on them through Arrivals, or get stopped for the cool pack. Nervous about the pouch looking weird on the scanner.

Personal prescription insulin is routinely carried through CMB when it is clearly for you — keep pens and needles in hand luggage with the cool pouch, carry a doctor letter with your name and the drug names, and answer plainly if an officer asks. Do not pack all of it in checked bags where temperature and loss risk are worse. A small gel pack for medication is normal; you are not required to invent a special form beyond what your airline and doctor already advised. I will not invent customs fee folklore. If asked, show the letter and the labeled pens. Keep a spare day of supplies split so one bag failure is not a crisis.
