Fort to Kandy on a Sunday — reserved hill seat or ordinary intercity if 6:44 first Randoli is the night clock
We need Kandy this afternoon so we are on a kerb for first Randoli listed 6:44. Fort counter said reserved is thin. Ordinary intercity is standing possible. Elder in the group. Bags are two backpacks.

Ordinary seated intercity if reserved is gone. Elder gets the seat. 6:44 is the listed Randoli start, not a reason to invent a festival extra on the bus. Ask the Fort board twice. Highway van if the clock is real and the elder cannot stand. I will not sell a ghost reserved ticket.
We took the highway van, sat, arrived. Fine. Train would have been a postcard and a maybe.
If you get a reserved, good. If not, leave a buffer for Kadugannawa crawl.
