Afternoon showers left puddles and our standing socks are wet. Best mid-afternoon place to grab a fresh dry pair before evening, without buying another whole shoe. Not flip-flops for puddle hops, and not an air-dry check only.

A clothing stall or small supermarket near town usually has plain cotton socks mid-afternoon — try them on and keep the wet pair in a bag.

If sizes look mixed in festival week, buy one spare pair more than you think you need.
