Very common at roadside stalls — machine crushes sugarcane stalks, extracting juice into cup. Green-yellow juice, subtly sweet with grassy note. 100-200 LKR per glass. Add lime and salt for the classic street version.

Safety: choose busy stalls (fresh production), watch the cane get pressed in front of you (not pre-pressed sitting). Skip ice unless you know source. Best fresh — doesn't hold flavor once sat. Cooling in tropical heat.
