Friday 28 Aug, Kandy is ordinary town once the night cortege is done. We are at shoe counter at the Tooth with no night crowd. Train in two hours. Festival ended today after Dahawal, no night restart. Asking before we pay a leftover tout. White set still damp on a chair.

Friday Kandy is ordinary town. Courtyard if you cover and the queue is not a story. Then leave. Dahawal 2:18 is optional daylight, not a night kerb. No restart. Lived pin: shoe counter at the Tooth with no night crowd.
