Friday 28 Aug, Kandy is ordinary town once the night cortege is done. We are at Maligawa courtyard on a quiet Friday. Damp white shirt. Festival ended today after Dahawal, no night restart. Asking before we pay a leftover tout. I want the grown-up fork, not the pride fork.

Friday Kandy is ordinary town. Courtyard if you cover and the queue is not a story. Then leave. Dahawal 2:18 is optional daylight, not a night kerb. No restart. Lived pin: Maligawa courtyard on a quiet Friday.

Ask two locals. The first number is a test, not a fee I will invent.

Hang the damp set. Packing wet for a hop is how rooms smell.
