Friday 28 Aug, Kandy is ordinary town once the night cortege is done. We are at Bahirawakanda steps with tired legs. Elder shade need. Festival ended today after Dahawal, no night restart. Asking before we pay a leftover tout. I want the grown-up fork, not the pride fork.
