I am in Jungle Beach tonight. Do I go to Kandy first for a reserved seat, or can I board later with luggage?

If you need a seat through the hill, reserve. From Jungle Beach an ordinary unreserved hop with bags is a gamble at busy hours. Observation talk is a blog, not a ticket class.

We reserved Kandy-Ella and stopped stressing. Unreserved was fine on a quieter midweek board with small bags.

If you are tired, stay near the bus stand or town centre in Jungle Beach and skip the extra viewpoint. Pull cash in Colombo, Kandy, or Galle first. Cards are a maybe, not a plan.
