Stay. The tail still has the relic section on a night like this. Walking toward the head is how you meet a wall of people and miss both.

We stayed. The remaining tail was the part we came for. Chasing the head was a rumour from the next group.

If a neighbor says the head is one short block and you can see gaps, a short walk is fine. A long hunt is not.
