Kid already tired from the hop. Kite sellers are not out. Wind is real. Partner wants the postcard stretch because we 'have the night'. Sunday 30 Aug. Hotel lobby is twenty metres.

Sit if the kid is already done. Leftover SW on Galle Face is ordinary. The wall is a walk, not a festival. Ten minutes if you must, then a lobby. Do not invent a closure. If sand is going in eyes at 01:00, you are done. Dawn is kinder and still not a timetable.

We did eight minutes, went in. Fine. Pride wanted the full stretch.
