Sunday 30 Aug, Colombo. Galle Face is right there. Kid is melting. Hotel soda is five metres. I know the prices. I also know the melt.

Pay the soda if the kid is melting now. Walk if they can. Shade is the need, not the brand. Galle Face is a public walk. I will not invent a green fee. One soda, ten minutes, move. If you sit a table, order. Occupying terrace shade with a bottle you brought is the rude version.

We paid one soda, cooled, walked. Fine. Ate elsewhere.
