Kid already tired from the night hop. Kite sellers are out. Wind is real. We wanted the postcard stretch before Kandy. Not trying to be the family that melts on the lawn.

Sit if the kid is already done. Leftover SW on Galle Face is ordinary. The wall is a walk, not a festival. Kite sellers are not a timetable. Ten minutes on the lawn, then a lobby or a bus to Kandy. Do not invent a closure. If sand is going in eyes, you are done.

Kids: lobby. Pride walks the full stretch and owns a tantrum at the bus stand.
