Room inside the Fort. Partner wants the wall now because 'Wednesday sunrise'. Stones are still slick from Tuesday leftover rain. Ordinary bags, one pair of sandals. Not a festival. Not a marine colour.

Wait. Rampart laterite stays slick until it dulls. Sandals at 1am is the clinic. Inner lanes if you must walk. Lighthouse stretch gets the wind. Nobody is closing the Fort. It is wet stones.
