Fort room, leftover rain on the laterite. Partner wants the lighthouse stretch before breakfast. Ordinary bags, one pair of sandals. 23 Aug, Sunday, not a cyclone.

Inner lanes until the stones are dull and dry. Rampart stays slick after a proper night rain. Sandals on that stretch is how you meet the clinic in town. Walk Church Street in the shade. Nobody is closing the Fort. It is just wet.
