Galle Pedlar bakery bun at 7 — did the +10 already hit the counter or is it still yesterday's board
Fort, leftover rain, we want a sit. Dutch Hospital looks priced like Colombo. Pedlar bakery has locals and plastic chairs. I am not asking flour per kilo. I am asking if the midnight loaf bump made the bun weird this morning.

Walk two lanes. A Pedlar bun and tea is the ordinary sit. The 450g loaf +10 from midnight may show on the loaf, not as a tourist surcharge on a bun. If the bun is the bun, pay it. Dutch Hospital is a pretty courtyard. One drink there if you want the photo, then leave.
We sat Pedlar, walked Dutch Hospital after. Fine. One soda on the terrace was enough.
If they try a 'foreigner bun', walk. The loaf bump is real; a private menu is not.
