Gampola cobbles still slick — sandals on the walk or wait until the stones go dull — this Monday morning after leftover rain
31 Aug, leftover rain on the Gampola stones. Partner wants the stretch before breakfast. Ordinary bags, one pair of sandals. I do not want a sprain. Locals, please contradict the group chat. This Monday morning after leftover rain. Cannot tell if this is ordinary or a tired mistake. Locals, please contradict the group chat.

Wait. The Gampola stones stay slick until late morning after leftover rain. Sandals on that stretch is how you meet the clinic in town. Walk the inside lane in the shade, do the wall when it is dull and dry. Nobody is closing Gampola. It is just wet. I will not invent a fee to walk it.
We paid a short hop with a kid. Pride would still be bargaining in leftover drizzle.
