Techniques: (1) roll to hands-and-knees first, then rise. (2) use wall or column for hand support. (3) place hand on knees, push up. (4) accept help from younger locals — culturally natural. (5) foldable travel stool (Amazon buys) for temples and beach seating.

Restaurants: many now have Western-style tables + chairs (especially tourist zones). Traditional dining requires floor seating — small stool or bench alternative usually available on request. Communicate mobility limits in advance to hotels/tour operators.
