Good Sri Lanka-related podcasts or YouTube channels to follow while traveling?
Any recommendations for interesting local content to listen to or watch during downtime?

Local English-language options are limited but growing. Some good YouTube channels cover travel, food, and current affairs. For podcasts, look for episodes from international shows that have done deep dives on Sri Lanka (BBC, Economist, travel podcasts). Following Sri Lankan journalists and writers on social media (X, Instagram, LinkedIn) gives good real-time perspectives. Many guesthouses have bookshelves with local authors too.
Some local creators are making great content about hidden places and food. Ask other travelers or your hosts for current recommendations - it changes quickly.
