Need Grab or PickMe to Kandy station for a morning train. Is the surge from last night gone, or still sticky. Not Grab ETA huge on a dense curb mid-parade, and not ring-road tuk pin hunt during the late crush.

Morning app rides are usually back to normal pricing. If a quote looks wild, walk two minutes and refresh, or take a street tuk with an agreed number. Leave buffer for station queues during festival week.
