Sri Lanka has no formal service-animal legislation. In practice: guide dogs accepted at international hotels, larger restaurants, most attractions with prior notice. Rural areas: education may be needed. Airlines allow trained service animals with documentation. Bring: service dog ID, vet records, home country service certification.

Practical: contact hotels in advance to confirm acceptance and preparation. Some smaller guesthouses may need explanation. Colombo is more accessible than rural Sri Lanka. Feed and vet supplies mostly available (specific dog food brands limited).
