Cactus house and the sheltered collections hold colour when roses look tired. August roses can still be fine some weeks and thin on others. If you have both, walk both. If you have one hour, sheltered houses first, roses on the way out.

Cactus house was the surprise. Roses were ordinary. Still walked them.
