Planning a real half-day at Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and still be back for an early dinner before Second Randoli at 7:00 PM. Realistic today, or too tight. Not the short two-hour tuk frame, and not taxi-versus-bus choice alone.

A true half-day works if you leave the gardens with a clear buffer for traffic back into town and an early dinner. Festival evenings punish late returns — build margin before 7:00 PM.
