Hambantota harbour at first light — fishermen said wind, do we still take a 6am boat someone sold us

Desk in Tissa sold a 'harbour morning'. Fishermen on a call said the wind is already rude. No marine bulletin on my phone at 1:05 1 Sep. I do not need a whale. I need to not be the tourist who argued with a skipper.

If the skipper says no, it is no. Wind on Hambantota–Pottuvil is a lived thing this time of year. There is no 1am Amber I will invent, and no wave-height I will fake. Sit the harbour wall, drink tea, keep your money. A desk voucher is not a sea-state. If a late-morning marine note appears, read that, not a 2024 screenshot.
