Haputale. Mid-morning, cloud sitting on the hill. Walk up to the viewpoint now, or stay for tea and hope it lifts.

Walk up now if you want the air. Cloud may not lift. A grey viewpoint is still a walk. Tea after. Waiting in the room is how you get neither.

We walked. No view, good air. Came down for tea. Fine. We would have been annoyed if we had waited.

If the path is slick from the cloud, skip. A wet downhill with tired legs is not worth a grey photo.
