Saturday 22 Aug, Hikkaduwa. Flag on the main bay with leftover SW chop, toddler already in the shallows. We are elder with a stick. Not trying to be cheap for sport. Trying not to pay a desk invention.

The pole is a pole, not a cocktail. Stay where you can stand. I am not quoting an official warning colour as a 22 Aug gazette. Inflatables past the first break are how you buy a plaster. The bar does not write the sea.

Carrier, water, peel when limp. Ordinary tiredness.

One soda, ten minutes, move. Do not camp a four-top for email. No gazette.

Ask two people. The first story about harbour-side boats, not a whale promise is not a timetable.

We dumped bags first. Dragging hard-shells into a kerb is theatre. Then tea.
