Saturday 22 Aug, Hikkaduwa. Fort after ten, Main Gate versus a dark rampart shortcut. We are hearing-protection crowd for a four-year-old. Not trying to be cheap for sport. Trying not to pay a desk invention.

Walk to a bigger road before you call a tuk. Meeting pin in writing. Saturday night is ordinary weekend, not a hunt. PickMe finds the main road.

Carrier, water, peel when limp. Ordinary tiredness.

One soda, ten minutes, move. Do not camp a four-top for email. No gazette.

Ask two people. The first story about harbour-side boats, not a whale promise is not a timetable.

We dumped bags first. Dragging hard-shells into a kerb is theatre. Then tea.
