Hatton locals, is this a real problem: 138 vs a Grab across Colombo with bags?

We have a paid pin near Hatton and now this: 138 vs a Grab across Colombo with bags. Keep the pin or eat the booking?

Do the kind version. Ordinary bus/train/tuk logistics. Do not invent a line close or a bus-fare cut. Hatton will still be there. 138 vs a Grab across Colombo with bags is not a reason to push wrecked people into the dark. Bags change the trade.

We asked the tea stall, not the tout. Hatton stalls usually know which van is real. Leave a margin.

If the quote is double a sensible hop, wait for another one. If it is a small bump, pay and stop feeding the argument. First light is kinder than noon.
