Hikkaduwa, not Kandy. Showers at times. Covered dinner here, or squeeze the last hop toward Galle before it thickens again.

Eat here under a roof if a pulse is still sitting. A wet last hop with hungry kids is a poor Galle arrival.

If you already have a Galle bed, go between pulses with bags in a closed tuk. Do not stand at an open bay.

We ate, then took a short covered walk. Galle can wait an hour if the sky is still heavy.
