Hiniduma. Friday midday. A shop is plating and the inland hop is loading. Sit a plate here, or keep the hop.

Sit if you are empty and the hop looks like it will wait a few minutes. If the conductor is already calling, take two parcels and board. Do not lose the inland hop for a slow plate.

We took parcels. Ate on the hop. Fine. The sit-down lot were still waiting when we pulled out.

If the next inland is a long gap, sit. Ten minutes and a real plate beats a dry bun on a standing hop.
