Horton gate this morning — tout says the visitor limit is live, board still looks ordinary, do we pay a quota or walk up

5:40 at the gate. Man with a laminated paper saying limits started 1 Sep. Board on the post still looks like the usual hours. We have a hired van, two people, jumper weather. Not trying to queue-jump. Trying not to buy a fake cap.

Walk up. Proposed limits are proposed, not live. I will not quote a cap I do not see on the gate board. The laminated paper is a sales tool. Pay the ordinary ticket at the counter. World's End is still a walk. If they ever go live, the board changes, not a tout.
