Sunday 30 Aug. Cousin at the guesthouse says World's End is a 5am secret. Board at the park gate has hours. Elder in the group. Hired van already quoting a pre-dawn number that feels like a tour.

Believe the ticket window. Horton is a park with hours, not a secret. I will not invent an entry fee or a 5am exception. World's End clouded in anyway sits until late morning often. Sleep, jumper, go when the board says open. Agree the van for an ordinary morning, not a speech.

We went at opening, cloud sat, walked anyway, tea after. Fine. The 5am people looked cold and smug about fog.

Pride argues with a closed gate. The gate does not care.

Nanu Oya jumper, then the clock. Do not steal hours from an elder for a reel.

We slept. World's End was still a cliff at nine.

Haputale mist is the same lesson. Sit if you cannot see the step.

Van quote dropped when we said ordinary morning, not 4am.
