Host already asleep - slide a note under the door about a 5am bag or is it too late

Companion to the reception-bag question. WhatsApp to the house is unread. Partner wants to write bag at desk 5am on hotel paper and slide it. I think a note this late is how we wake someone who just got the floor quiet. Slide it, or wait until we see a person, which may be 07:00.

Do not slide a note under a sleeping door this late. Do not knock. Unread WhatsApp is the message; 05:00 will be whatever 05:00 is. A day-pack is the plan that does not need a night porter.

I cannot swear this house's note-under-door culture. Wootler unattended-vehicle energy still applies to a suitcase left for the desk on a step. No invented porter fee.

We did not slide anything. Morning desk said after 7. Day-pack. Fine.
