First Randoli is tonight so we want an early meal and maybe a packed plate for the afternoon. What time do most Kandy places actually open Sunday breakfast, and is packing out food frowned on.

Many mid-range places start around the usual breakfast window, not midnight. Ask for the exact open time at check-in. Packing a modest plate for later is usually fine if you ask first.

Do not rely on buffet leftovers for a long evening on the route. Pack fruit and biscuits separately and buy water in town.
