We are walking back after a long occupied stand. Third Randoli still on the streets. Ask the hotel kitchen if they are still plating, or eat the leftover rice we left in the room.

Call the desk from the outer pavement. Many kitchens still plate a simple rice after a Perahera night. Leftover rice in a warm room is the fallback, not the first try.

We called. They plated two rice and curry. The leftover packet stayed in the fridge.

If the desk says the kitchen is closed, leftover rice plus a sealed shop yoghurt is fine. Do not hunt a street stall through the occupied grid.
