Can we ask the hotel for late checkout so we can nap before Second Randoli tonight at 7:00 PM. Not claim lobby sofas during a quiet gap mid-parade, and not what to ask the desk when walking in right after it finished.

Ask early — many Kandy hotels offer late checkout or a day-use hold during Perahera week if the room is not sold. A paid late checkout beats wandering with luggage before a second night stand.

If late checkout is full, ask to store bags and use the lobby sofas after lunch.
