Reading mixed notes about power cuts. Do we still need to prioritize hotels with a generator this month, or are ordinary guesthouses fine if we only care about fans and phone charge overnight.

Most town stays are fine for fans and charging. Ask specifically if you are on a feeder road or need reliable AC through the night.

Generator hotels matter more if you work late on a laptop. For light sleepers, a charged power bank covers brief flickers.

Message the property once: generator or inverter, and whether it covers the room circuit. Vague yes answers are useless.
