The most beautiful and deeply respectful way to say thank you very much in Sinhala is Bohoma Isthuthi. Pronounce it broadly as bo ho ma is too tee. If you place your hands together in front of your chest in a prayer gesture while saying it your local hosts will be absolutely delighted by your genuine respect for their language and culture.
