I ordered an egg hopper for dinner. Do I use a fork or my hands?

Hands! Tear off the crispy edges first and dip them in the Lunu Miris (spicy onion sambal). Once you reach the center, you can scoop the egg and the soft base with your fingers or a spoon. It is messy, but delicious.

If it is a really runny egg, don't be ashamed to use a spoon. It can get very messy fast!

Add a pinch of salt and pepper to the egg yolk if it's too bland. That is how the locals do it.
