Reach Kandy: (1) Train from Colombo via Kandy scenic 6-8 hours (iconic), 300-1500 LKR class-dependent. (2) Train direct or via Nanu Oya (Nuwara Eliya). (3) Chauffeur 5-7 hours USD 100-150. (4) Bus 400-1200 LKR (slowest, cramped).

Train tips: book Observation Class or 2nd class reserved via 12Go Asia or railway.gov.lk. Right-side seats better views. Bring snacks, water. Bathroom clean at start, less so later. Photograph tea country from windows.
