Coastal Sri Lanka: 26-32°C temperature + 75-90% humidity = feels 35-40°C. Coping: linen and cotton (no synthetic), airy clothing, avoid direct sun midday, seek AC breaks, hydrate aggressively, cool showers 2-3x daily. Sweat mostly stays wet (doesn't evaporate) so accept damp clothing feel.

Hillcountry: much lower humidity (40-60%), feels dramatically cooler. Cultural Triangle: hot AND humid, but drier than coast. Best months: December-March (coolest, driest). Hardest months: April-May, August-September (hottest + humid).
