If the First Randoli crush splits our group, is WhatsApp live location enough after dark or should we also set a fixed lamp-post pin. Not the clock-tower versus jetty meeting question.

Use both. Live location helps while signal holds; a fixed lamp-post or shopfront pin still works when data dies. Agree the pin before you enter the crush and screenshot it.

If you must leave the area, update the pin to the tuk pickup spot so nobody walks back into an empty curb.
