However, private, unannounced imports of the dish hardware in personal passenger baggage still require a provisional Type Approval permit and No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the TRCSL prior to arrival. Clearing customs involves standard duties and VAT assessed under telecommunication terminal HS codes. Arriving without the NOC will cause customs to retain the hardware in the air cargo bond until paperwork is cleared.
Local regional roaming packages function well across the coastal belts, but heavy monsoonal rain fade will cause brief degradation during severe tropical cloudbursts.
