Incense and oil-lamp smoke is thick near the front. Step back with an asthma inhaler, or does the air clear after the first segment. Early-parade curb, First Randoli already moving.

Step back. Smoke often hangs near the front through several early segments — do not wait it out if anyone has asthma. Use the inhaler as prescribed and take a quieter curb a little further along.

Sip water and avoid deep breaths right over the lamps.

If it gets worse, use a side alley to reset rather than pushing deeper toward the temple front.
