I am not a strong swimmer. Are flags, current, and boats something I should worry about near Lipton's Seat?

After dark in Lipton's Seat, do not walk a quiet stretch with luggage. Pin a PickMe or ask the hotel to call someone they know. Main roads are ordinary. Side lanes after 9 are not a tour. Write the fare. No invented night timetable.

We did Lipton's Seat last week without a driver. One hop, one plan B, small cash, and PickMe where it actually pings. The tourist loop cost more and showed us less. If you only have one day, pick the main thing and skip the extra viewpoint.

If you are tired, stay nearer the bus stand or the fort/town centre rather than hunting a perfect Lipton's Seat sunset. Cards fail in smaller places, so pull cash in Colombo, Kandy, or Galle first. Locals will tell you if a ticket is counter-only.
