The old all-in-one Cultural Triangle round ticket has effectively been phased out for tourists, who now buy each major site individually: Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura, Dambulla, Ritigala and the Jetavana/Isurumuniya museums each have their own foreigner ticket. Pricing is in USD-equivalent but you pay in rupees at the gate; SOME sites now accept Visa/Mastercard. Sigiriya is the priciest at around 30 USD; Dambulla and Polonnaruwa are individually around 15 to 25 USD. If you are doing only Sigiriya plus Dambulla, buy individually, simpler. If you are doing 4+ sites, ask at the Sigiriya ticket office whether any current multi-site discount package is being offered (it changes periodically). Bring cash AND a card to be safe, and keep your printed tickets, you may be asked at multiple checkpoints inside large sites.

Sigiriya tickets are sold ONLY at the official ticket office at the site or via the official online portal. Anyone offering "discounted Sigiriya tickets" at your hotel or by the roadside is a scam.

For Polonnaruwa, the ticket includes the museum which is genuinely worth visiting before you cycle the ruins. Do not skip it.
